Antoinette Choate
Principal
Ms. Choate has concentrated on employment law and related litigation exclusively for her entire career, counseling hundreds of clients, including both employees and employers. She is dedicated to developing a personal relationship with each of her clients, ensuring that their needs are represented through the litigation process.
She earned her A. B. from the University of Chicago and her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Ms. Choate was selected as a Super Lawyer in 2016-2025 by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of employment & labor. She was named an “Illinois Rising Star” for 2009-2010 and 2012-2015 by Super Lawyers magazine. She served a Chair of the Labor and Employment Committee of the Chicago Bar Association as well as President of the National Employment Lawyer's Association Illinois Chapter (NELA/Illinois).
Ms. Choate is admitted to practice law within the State of Illinois (2004), the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (2005), and the Supreme Court of the United States (2016).

Marisa Choate brings the firm’s identity to life through her creative vision and visual storytelling.
She holds a Master’s degree in Fashion, Body, and Garment from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a B.A. in Art—Drawing and Painting—from Loyola University Chicago.
Marisa’s work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Chicago, across the U.S., and internationally. Guided by the belief that “life doesn’t live forever, so neither should art,” she is passionate about making art accessible to all. Her practice is rooted in the conviction that art should be inclusive—especially for people with disabilities, who are often overlooked by the traditional art world. Marisa is committed to creating work that is engaging, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.
